Todd and Jaylyn's Wedding

I absolutely loved the dahlia and peony combo. Usually you don't see these two flowers together because they grow in different seasons, but we were lucky enough to get them. I love the color and texture of these two flowers together. They also smell amazing!

I will mess with Texas

At the end of June Darrell and I went to visit our sister, Natalie, in Texas. Our activities included: hanging out at the apartment and playing with the Ethan and Libby/sleeping, the pool, Man vs. Wild, seeing where JFK got capped, eating...a lot, food poisoning, arboretum, Dallas Temple, seeing Janet and kids, rodeo, and an awesome photoshoot.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words so I will let them do the talking.

JFK. RIP.

So Sunday afternoon Dar and I went for a walk and it turned into an urban photoshoot. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
(I think the one above is SWEET!!)
Ok, there is this robot man by Nats house. I love him. There are three of this guy down the street. One of him standing, one playing the guitar, and one sinking. The sinking one makes me really sad. The guitar one is my favorite!
We had such a blast!!!! Thanks Mavis for letting us come visit you.

To Pleat or Not to Pleat

There are two kinds of people in this world...Those who like/wear pleated pants and those don't. I am one of the latter, my brother Darrell, is one of the former.
Darrell insists on bringing someone shopping with him, this task usually falls to me because everyone else he has taken in the past refuses to go with him again. I am his sister so I feel obligated but today was the last. I will never go shopping with Darrell ever again. Mark my words.
Let me explain, Darrell is the biggest tightwad in the world, but only about certain things. It is the strangest thing. He will spend $100 on a pair of sunglasses without blinking an eye but refuses to spend over $20 on nice dress pants! To me this makes no sense. And this is not an isolated incident. It seems like every time I go shopping with him we spend hours and hours at the mall looking for well fitting, cheap cloths that don't exist. I usually end up mad and super frustrated. Today was no exception. After trying on several really nice looking pants he insists on buying the most atrocious pair of pleated pants I have ever seen! That was the last straw. I have shopped my last with Darrell. I leave the task to some other poor fool. Pray it is not you.

What's the BUZZZZZZ

Many of you may know my dad, if you do you know he has a collection of hobbies including: car fixing (which is practically a full time job at the rate I destroy cars), house building... gutting.... and re-building, rock hunting, telescopes, cement work, plumbing, electronic things, gardening etc.... I honestly believe there is nothing my dad cant do.
One of my dads latest and greatest hobbies is bee keeping. Who knows what inspired this. We do not questions the working of my fathers brain.
Darrell and I happened to come home the day they got the new bees. The bees come in ventilated crates separate from the hives. It is the task of some lucky person to open the crate full of irritated bees, extract the queen, then dump the bees into their new hive...Me in the bee suit

Mom in the bee suit.

Graduations

High School: 2005
BYU: 2008
Culinary School: 2010I always feel empty after I graduate. I look forward to that day so much but after it happens I think, "What now?" I guess I'll just have to find something else to do with my time... something else to graduated in.
